Money for Bunnies

Money for Bunnies is a non-profit group that collects and donates money and supplies to rabbit shelters and rescue organizations, as well as raises awareness about pet rabbits.

The group started out as a myspace group, then moved on to having it's own myspace page, and now this website! The myspace page is still up and can be viewed here: Money for Bunnies myspace page

The group was founded on the idea that if each person donates a little, we can have a big impact on the lives of shelter bunnies.

Rabbits are now the third most popular pet in the United States. Unfortunately, that means that for the one’s that get great, loving homes, there are that many or more that are neglected, or left homeless. However, few people are aware that there are numerous shelters and rescue groups for rabbits across the country.

Every month, a different rabbit shelter/rescue will be featured as our “spotlight shelter”. All donations that month will go to the spotlight shelter. Donations include personal donations of money and supplies from individuals involved in the group, as well as any profits made through activities such as fund raisers, sales from our cafepress store, ect.

Another goal of the group is to help bunnies in need find homes. This will be done by getting the word out for the shelters about the wonderful animals they have for adoption. Also, we try to assist owners looking to rehome their rabbits through our extensive network of rabbit lovers willing to help find these animals new homes.
